About the Creator, Emily Rose
Hi! I’m Emily Rose, and I am a Charlottesville, VA native who has traveled all over the country becoming more and more inspired by all of the beautiful things I have been blessed to witness. From the Grand Canyon, Grand Tetons, to the geysers and majestic buffalos in Yellowstone National Park, Olympic National Rainforest, Mt. Rainer, Mt. Shasta, the Oregon coast, dancing my way through the magical lands of Maui, swimming with sea turtles and listening to whales underwater in the crystal blue ocean, hitch-hiking my way across the country, feeding wild-land fire fighters in California, seeing moose and listening to the loon’s songs in Maine, exploring the French countryside, strolling around Rome, and hiking the Appalachian Trail; this girl has been many places and seen many things! I have finally returned to my home town to grow roots, shine my light, fall in love, and explore my passion of creating beautiful things and I wish to share them with the local community and the world at large!

In 2023, I started Em’s Gems with the simple goal of giving the world beautiful handcrafted items. From that day forward I have stopped at nothing to create the most original, unique, and diverse jewelry, floral wall décor, and one of a kind multi-media paintings and crafts possible!
I’ve personally searched for, hand selected, and scavenged for all of the natural materials that I use. I use hypoallergenic stainless steel on all of the earrings and necklaces. For the multi-media paintings I incorporate silk flowers, live moss, shells, stones, rocks, beads, you name it and I will use it! I have wandered in fields for flowers to press, acorns to use, and I create truly one of a kind artwork.
